Friday March 1st to Friday April 26th – Batabano Bar Hop
This is a series of events to build awareness for the Batabano Carnival and to promote business for the selected bars. Starting on Friday March 1st and continuing every Friday night for 9 consecutive weeks there will be a series of promotional events. Costume band leaders and a few product sponsors are also involved in showcasing their items and offering the public opportunities to win prizes. 5 to 7 p.m.

Saturday April 27:
Cayman Carnival Junior Batabano and Family Fun Day – The children will parade around George Town in a mass of color, music and creativity before wowing the judges. After the parade the fun continues on the lawn of the Glass House with face painting, mask decorating, snow cones and family fun activities. Family Fun Day starts at 1 p.m.
Teen Jam – The Batabano committee’s focus on holding an event for the teens is important. This is where teens can associate with their peers and enjoy music of their choice, all in a safe environment. Refreshments are on sale by the PTA.
From 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Kri Dance Studio. Security is present and teachers and parents volunteer to ensure the event is teen friendly and without incident. Admission is $10.00.

Le Masque – A Masquerade Experience
Fundraiser Dinner and Show at Tiki Beach (Featuring Arturo Tappin and Band)
This event features a dinner and entertainment evening and this year it will be featuring ‘Live’ on stage, Arturo Tappin one of the Caribbean’s finest musicians. Fresh from totally mesmerizing the 2013 Jamaican Jazz & Blues. Arturo has always been a hit with the local Cayman audience. Tiki Beach at 7 p.m.
Friday May 3:
Corporate Dress Down Day
Businesses are encouraged to purchase a Batabano T-Shirts to be worn by their employees on Carnival Friday.
Friday Night at Tiki Beach
Performances by Red Plastic Bag, Mighty Gabby, and DJ Ralph at Tiki Beach, 8 p.m. Tickets $40.
Saturday May 4th:
The Main Event – Adult Costume Street Party
Starting from 2 p.m, enjoy a kaleidoscope of music, dance and pageantry in this our 30th anniversary of carnival celebration. Stilt Walkers, Acrobats, and Limbo Dancers will lead a colorful parade of masqueraders, floats and costumed individuals. The parade starts from Governor’s Way and travels along West Bay Rd and ends in George Town on Fort Street, where beverages will be on sale.
Following the parade activities, the party continues on the streets with live music by local artists and visiting entertainers.
Art In The Heart – Local artists and craft vendors will showcase and sell their arts and crafts in a village style setting in Celebration Park throughout the day. This event takes place from 12 noon until 6 p.m.
Food Festival – Enjoy a colorful array of cuisine with over 20 local vendors, alongside some of Cayman’s premiere restaurants, dishing up traditional island fare. Albert Panton Street and Cardinall Avenue, George Town, 12 noon.
