Tribal Carnival is the 2018 and 2019 Batabano Band of the Year! Tribal was established in 2007 and has been a part of Cayman Carnival Batabano ever since.

With its headquarters based in Toronto, Canada, Tribal participates in carnivals around the world, including in Miami, The Cayman Islands, and Honduras. Established in 2007 by Founder and Band Leader Dexter Seusahai, Tribal has emerged as one of the most  successful Mas Bands of the last decade.

Driven by Dexter’s passion for building Mas, his creative vision has led  Tribal to many victories in a number of Carnival categories including  “King of the Bands” in both 2009 and 2010 at The Scotiabank Caribana Festival. Having grown in size from 350 mas players in  2007 to over 1600 in 2010, Tribal is the fastest growing band in  Caribana history. Having won “Band of  the Year” in the small band category in 2007, Tribal would participate  in the A class category in every subsequent year.
